IS 71 Adnikra Quilt Installation
This installation was completed with students at IS 71 through a NYSCA partnership grant through BRIC Rotunda Gallery. Each student explored power symbols from West African Adinkra to created this 6' x 6' quilt like installation. It was on view at IS 71 gallery and for Kids Art Exhibition 2008 at Rotunda Galley and will find permanent installation at the indoor entrance of IS 71 on Heyward St. in East Willamsburg Brooklyn
