Global Community Mural at IS49
This mural was created with the middle school students at IS49. It's concentric circles are constructed with our Universe and Solar System at the largest, Planets followed by Continents, Countries (represented by flags), a repeated shape of New York State, New York City Skyline, Brooklyn, centered by a painted map of East Williamsburg. The mural as a whole connects micro to macro and creates a visual representation of our direct connectedness to our Global Community.
